The McArthur Home on Saugeen Town Line. The house was built by Peter the Gold. The photo was taken circa 1900. There are five people on the lawn. One man is sitting with his legs crossed and another man in standing behind him, both are wearing hats. One woman is sitting with a baby on her lap, and there is another woman standing beside her.

The house has an Italianate style tower with low pitched roof. There are finials on the tops of the gables elsewhere on the roof.
